I’ll be the first in my household to make an university degree, which’s something I hold very close to my heart.
My family members and I relocated to the United States in 2014 We selected Memphis as our second home to begin fresh and construct a far better future.
When I graduated senior high school in 2020, I determined to join the Army Book so I could function full time to help support my family financially. In the process, my parents constantly reminded me of the relevance of a college level. Truthfully, I fought with the choice in between picking job over institution.
That transformed when I uncovered the College of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I could gain my level 100 % online from a recognized, country wide recognized Carnegie R 1 college. The adaptability of the program made it feasible to balance work, life, and education. Once I signed up, I understood I made the right choice.
As an online student, I stayed involved with campus life through occupation fairs and joining pupil organizations like the Society of Human Resource Management. I wished to obtain one of the most out of my college experience and get in touch with people who shared my interest for HR.
Last November, I released to Kuwait, with a month left of autumn semester. Many thanks to the assistance and structure of UofM Global, I had the ability to finish solid, also making the Dean’s Checklist. I’m taking 4 courses while offering on active duty, and I’m pleased to say I’ll be finishing in May.
Being able to serve my nation, sustain my family members, and make my level indicates the world to me. I feel prepared to handle whatever comes next.
